The final ‘Our Island Plan’ report has been published, and I’ve been reading through what was promised, what has been achieved, and what remains unfinished.
Did residents, businesses and local communities genuinely shape the plan, or were decisions ultimately made for them, rather than with them?
As voters prepare to choose the next administration, this is exactly the kind of document we should be discussing.
What do you believe the current administration delivered well?
What projects or commitments fell short?
Has the Island Plan made a positive difference in your community?
And what should the next House of Keys prioritise that hasn’t yet been achieved?
I’d like to hear from residents, businesses, community groups and anyone affected, the next administration shouldn’t just inherit a plan – it should learn from what worked and what didn’t.
